hes a weeaboo for humans and hes wearing a cowboy. it is very physically taxing to host him :) more under the spoiler bc my fellow players follow me

he's a mash of tiny incomplete soul fragments that sloughed off of a god and descended upon the mortal realm a few hundred years ago and notably has wiped a town or two off the map trying to find his perfect host.

he is widely regarded as some type of niche disease that came and went (like the real life sweating sickness).

He really really wants to be a human but the best he can do is wear one at the moment and everyone can tell theres something wrong with him.

Here's the reference for Runt's humanoid form. His design is very strange to me but still enjoyable at the same time.

He takes this form whenever people or humans would seemingly be more scared of him as a wolf. He doesn't remove his wolf features, however. Instead, you are greeted by the abnormally tall, wraith thin, mix between what would make a man and a beast. A form that exists only with the intention to mock the idea that looking "more human" would be less scary.

Fun little fact that's semi-related: Depending on their upbringing and personality, a nightmare wolf's appearance leans towards a specific trait that will then be exaggerated. Runt's status as the "runt" of the litter is the reason he takes the forms of something emaciated whenever he shapeshifts. Compared to his siblings, he is the smallest and the weakest, and thus ate the least.

Wedding Release necropsy

This is the wedding release baby that passed away just after arriving, prompting the angry, heart broken post back in August.

Graphic photos under the cut of what happens way too often to wedding release pigeons.

This was an even more heart breaking necropsy than they usually are.

This child suffered an exceptionally cruel death for a wedding’s aesthetic.

He was purchased too young to possibly have been trained to find his way back.

Even trained birds can’t avoid getting hawk struck, but this child was tossed into the air with out even *that* much effort put into ensuring his survival.

For reference, this bird was 9 weeks old.

It takes two weeks for a baby to lose THAT much weight.

Meaning this child was 7 weeks old when he was tossed at this wedding.

7 weeks is all of two weeks into a homer baby even beginning to be capable of flight.

He was hit by a car.

And then he starved to death.

By the time he found his way to help, it was too late to save him.

His organs were necrotic and failing.

I dearly hope these graphic records of this little peep’s death make people think twice about celebrating their union by abandoning a white domestic animal to this kind of hideous end.

This is an impact wound.

There is usually a thick pad of fat around the tail to anchor the feathers

This poor boy is necrotic in pretty much every organ.

The small intestine and liver are blackened.

The large intestine is severely inflamed.

The size of the heart is normal for a 9 week old pigeon, but good god, look at the necrosis in the atria.

His liver is rotten.
