Me and recruiters.
OMG I'm dying
At least somebody doesn't think I suck as a human being.
So my spouse has been out of state visiting their dad since last week Wednesday. Every day, Mable is usually tap dancing and trying to wake me up by like 8:30 and Meeah hears her and starts bellowing (or he other way around, IDK).
Well last night, Meeah was sitting on my lap and refused to get up until about 12:30, so I took my trazodone late. Once it kicked in, I collapsed in my bed and realized I forgot to turn on my alarm clock. NBD, I thought. Nobody's let me sleep past 9 all week.
I woke up at 10 to Mable's tap dancing. 3 out of 5 days a week, it's not a big deal. Of course, today is one of the 2 days I actually need to be up by 9:30 at the latest to make final edits and schedule one of the newsletters I build.
Luckily, today was one of the times it got approved like 2 minutes before it needed to be scheduled, so I was able to let the dogs out and send the email just in time. Not, of course, without Meeah losing her shit because HRH didn't get fed the second I came downstairs. At least I stopped her from knocking anything off the coffee table.
High school classmate, after telling her about my job: "That's so cool! I love social media and digital marketing." My actual job: building an email about gel pens
