Got this in my email earlier today. Yeah, they’re definitely way more excited about it then I am.

I think this email address may be older than even some of my followers. (It’s definitely older than all of my nieces and nephews.)

COURT NOTICE SCAM

nothing to do with tumblr and stuff, but i'm completely amused by something i recieved on  my email today

i recieved an email saying that i was to appear on court at a specified date, and that i should prepare my documents; if i wasn't to appear, the court would hear the case in my absence.

IT WAS A SCAM

it tells you do download an ttachment to know the 'details' of the case, BUT DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT. IT'S ACTUALLY A VIRUS. just in case you are wondering, no, i didn't open the attachment, i just searched for court notice scam and came to realise the email was false.

the court does not send emails, in any case, they send you a letter by mail.

also, whoever sent this stuff used '[email protected]' which actually has nothing to do with court and stuff.

i just wanted to share in case of someone recieving the same thing :/
