is everything alright?
not at the moment, just dealing with the limitations of my illness, but stuff will turn around again eventually. thanks for asking!!

I fear tumblr thinks I like you or something. It thinks ur cool, too 🙂↕️
me and my five blogs comprising your entire dash 💻📁🤵♀️🧑🎓🦹♂️
do you have any updates on your pluribus watch? i must know of every scrap hiding in this wonderful brain.
i have one update: still thinking about those rats.
You might see this in my tags but I have to actually say it to you.
THAT NURSES GIFSET YOU JUST POSTED IS BEAUTIFUL. Seriously, thank you for the time and effort you put into making gifs, you and all the other people who do this are the lifeblood of this site.
oh man, thank you, this is unbelievably nice!! thank you soso much!
hi here is a little love in your inbox because i love you! mwah <3
this is so nice!! i'm in a weird spot rn where avoidance is tearing at me but this really made my day ahhhhhhhhh
A letter from someone that is totally a complete stranger,
Love you, you warm sunbeam of a turtle.
Have a splendid afternoon, you random stranger on the internet (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
i know who you are
did the years of defending characters who were women and girls give you good pre-law school practice?
lmao this is funny on multiple levels but i'll take it seriously for one second, as i do.
if i'm honest, law school involves far less debate than one would think, at least in the country where i'm from. a very common refrain i would hear from people not in law is, "it must be so cool finding, like, loopholes in the law and figuring out how to get away with things," and that's a similar type of misconception - there are very few loopholes actually to be found and the ones that are there are typically widely known, used and abused (think mostly taxes & rich people)
but i will say, while i've been just... raised as a fairly argumentative person (in my family, discussion is everything, nothing was off-limits subject-wise) i can't lie, tumblr has affected my way of argument and dealing with people in a myriad of ways.
i pretty much always hold a lot of unpopular opinions (in the sense of liking a lot of characters/ships that don't get a ton of attention) and i've followed a bunch of people who both write and reblog some really smart stuff about media analysis that i do think has helped me and often posts will include explanations of bigger phenomena and THAT i can actually use in law.
like... a strawman argument, circular reasoning, affirmative action etc and so on... those are things you can encounter on tumblr a lot and see refuted/expanded on on tumblr pretty effectively (when you follow the right people) and smartly and i have actually used that in my studies, lmao.
that, and yes, sometimes defending women does feel like you're trying to address each individual point like you're typing up an airtight legal argument.
i don’t watch pluribus so your posts about rats and the rat hive without co text have been cracking me up
honestly, they would only make slightly more sense if you HAD watched the show but i have been thinking about it the whole day
