Emapollo Week Day 6: Noir

Emapollo week Day 4 -- Family I popped this out real fast so it’s short and I don’t know how to write Lana. I think Lana and Apollo would get along actually!! But I love protective older sis! Lana so ;]]

"I-I'm sorry?" 

Lana stared him down. 

"I'm quite sure you heard me." 

"Uh, well, er--" Apollo looked at Ema, confused and flustered and pleading. "We've only been -- we haven't really talked about that just yet."

"But is the intent there?"

"Well, ahh, ahah, I wouldn't mind -- I mean, the future's never--"

"Lana." Ema placed her glass down with more force than needed. "Can we talk in private."

Lana said nothing as she stood. Apollo looked relieved and apprehensive at the same time, an odd combo Ema thought he pulled off well. The two found a quiet corner, out of sight of Apollo, before Ema stamped her foot down and sighed loudly. 

"What's the matter?" Lana asked innocently.

 "Lana! You can't just interrogate him like he's some witness!" 

"He's dating my sister; I have to make sure he's got his priorities in order." Lana looked at Ema, eyes piercing. Ema had to look away.

 "I know -- I know." Ema huffed. "He's nervous."

"I can tell. He should be." Lana smirked and Ema couldn't stop the smile from forming on her lips.

 "He just wants to make a good first impression on you." Ema said. 

"He hasn't made a bad one..." Lana replied.

"Lana..."

"This is the first time you've asked me to meet a boyfriend of yours." Lana noted.

 "Yeah. And." Ema crossed her arms as Lana gave her that look. A bit of embarrassment worked it's way through Ema at the comment. 

"You really like him." Lana nodded.

"Yeah. And." Ema felt her cheeks heat up. She looked away as Lana chuckled. "I just...want you two to get along."

"Oh?" Lana tilted her head to the side, curious. "You've dated people before who you knew I disapproved of."

"Yeah, but..." Ema shrugged, looking off to the side and playing with her hair. "I really like him."

They were quiet before a low noise came from Lana. Ema looked back at her sister, confused, before being enveloped in a hug.

"Awwwwwww, Ema." Lana cooed. Her sister was cooing. Ema put up a small struggle against the hug, but she couldn't stop herself from smiling. She ended up returning it, squeezing her sister tight. 

"You're my only family -- he has to get along with you or he's gone." Ema grumbled against Lana's cheek. 

"That's correct." Lana pulled away and grinned at her baby sister. "Mr. Wright found something in him to trust, so I'm sure I will as well." 

"I think you'll grow to like him." Ema smiled. Her older sister nodded and chuckled again. A few moments of comfortable silence went by. The restaurant they were in wasn't too busy for the night; the sounds of other conversations and glasses clinking was inviting. 

"You know, based off his response to my question before you asked to step aside, he may be family soon as well."

"Okay! Back to the table!" Ema turned around sharply, ignoring her sister and all implications she was making. That was a long way off and Ema didn't let the thought sit for too long. Lana actually laughed, following her back to their table and to a hopefully much more relaxed Apollo.

Emapollo Week Day 1: Afterwork

They sleep togheter (literal) on the office couch when work goes longer than expected~

EMA AND APOLLO MET TODAY, WHAT A BLESSED TIME

Apollo asks Ema to check on his cat while he’s away for a few days, and she’s nervous cuz she’s not reallyyy that good with pets.  But she actually get’s along really well with him. So Apollo comes back, and now anytime Ema comes over she walks in and goes right for Callie. Apollo is shoved to the side for a few as Ema sweet talks his cat and gives him all her attention. Apollo is super relieved that they get along, but at some point he’s just like ‘okay Ema leave him alone’. So they’re on the couch and Callie comes up and Ema’s attention is just on him and is just cooing over him and is like ‘you’re the only guy I’ll ever love’ and Apollo’s just like ‘really’

Emapollo Week will be June 12-18! Emapollo day is June 15th, right in the middle!  I’m a bit late in organizing and posting this, but better late than never. This is a week to celebrate Ema&Apollo, so it doesn’t have to be romantic per-say! If you love them as friends, or as your favorite defense&detective team, or any other way, feel free to participate as well!
