weird sudden conviction that if i knew how to draw and represent things visually i'd feel Real? which doesn't really make sense, i'm viewing this impulse with suspicion. But I'd probably be less self-conscious of posting my personal art if it was drawings because my writing is really personal and any time i think about posting any of it i get the same mental cringe as if i imagined running naked through a crowded public place

though i guess "fear of exposing myself" won't change just because the media does, generally tho people seem less harsh on, and more interested in, drawing, and a lot of my ideas would do well in visual mediums anyway

i guess my main issue is just my avoidance impulses tho SHRUG
