There's this drama, Kafeel that's airing on ARY Digital. I have seen so many horrible reviews over it, and I can't help but wonder if you're all paying attention.
This drama wasn't made to encourage women to commit the same mistakes as Zeba and her parents made. Yes it's a major trigger for women who married the wrong men in the 80's and before, but this is a warning to the future generation to choose wisely and to get out if you have the chance.
I absolutely find it very triggering myself, but you know what else? I love that it's such a warning. I would never give away my sisters, or daughters in arranged marriages without doing my due diligence and research on their future spouses first.
People need to stop hating on what we're watching, and learn to understand that this is what the women of our past have gone through. What some are still going through because people today do not believe in change, and at the very most, a warning to those that are planning on getting married.
Stop hating, and start understanding.
