This idea actually came from the OG design of ADS-3.0, when its name didn't yet suggest anything good... But I created Hopie when I decided to redesign that old design, but with my new drawing skills, since the original design is from two years ago, when I didn't have the same skills I have now. So, in order to keep the original design alive, I created a completely new character, which was essentially the same thing, just with different colors (and the small brother of ADS-3.0).
Overall, Hopie acts as an emotional support, kind of like a cheerleader to the team, except instead of performing choreography, he uses a substance that helps the individual feel safer or more confident at that moment (Another type of drug, similar to what his brother does) which comes from the guns on his arms.
He uses this ability in situations where, for example, the team feels considerably threatened, ensuring that the skill has a real impact at that moment and is not used recklessly. And since he's kind of a representation of a child, he's a bit more naive, but he's great at motivating people.
I'll give you an example. Let's say they're in a situation where a school is being attacked and some students are panicking. He could use his ability to make them more "relaxed" at that moment, less distressed. So it's kind of a dose of hope, really.
And within the team itself, when he sees a member feeling resentful about a situation, he doesn't just step over and use his skills to immediately make the person feel better. This would create a chemical dependency in the person if he used it with a certain frequency. Instead, he goes there and takes care of and comforts the person, creating a more comfortable environment for them, even with the conflicts they may be going through at that moment.
So he functions sort of like a bard. Always keeping the team motivated (not necessarily the animation, Embobador is more in charge of that).
In terms of personality, he's actually quite obedient, often being used as an example when the ADS-3.0 is about to reprimand some members. And ADS is very proud of Hopie, given that he can also act with a certain degree of independence.
In the lore, Hopie emerged as a similar idea to ADS, only changing the appearance to make it cuter and also using a less dangerous substance, since the sublimation substance in ADS can be used for evil in various ways.
Fun fact: Somehow, Hopie is the fastest in running from the main team.
Here you can take a look at his 3d model (which soon I will recolor to match better his new palette)
Rude Striker was inspired by Rouge from Sonic, and this idea also arose because of the dynamic between Rouge and Knuckles (considering that Pointy Pest was based on Knuckles). The name is inspired by Rude Buster from deltarune, rather the attack or the song, and also by Strika from TF Animated. The color palette was based on Stocking from PASWG btw.
Regarding her lore, Rude Striker was created by a group of villains in an attempt to create a worthy opponent for Pointy Pest (since he was hindering several of their plans). They gave her wings, thrusters on her back that make her fly very fast, and also the relatively pointy appearance that Pointy Pest possesses.
The leader of the villains, after seeing how Rude Striker looked when finished, was eager to finally deal with Pointy Pest, and so they sent her on this mission: to end Pointy Pest.
When the battle finally took place, Rude Striker disobeyed her command. Instead of finishing off Pointy Pest, she pursued another robot, or rather, the only female robot in that group of heroes, who could also fly: Flying Ribbon.
Rude Striker hated that pointless animation, the overly colorful bows, and especially the fact that she could fly just like her. "Another robot that flies? ONLY I CAN FLY HERE! This stupid girl with all those bows is copying me!", Rude Striker exclaimed.
And then she went after Flying Ribbon, and it was an extremely close fight they had. However, contrary to everyone's expectations, they come out of the fight as friends???
Pointy Pest, who had been rooting for his sister to win, was completely confused by this ending. During the fight, Flying Ribbon initiated a dialogue with Rude Striker, questioning why all of this was necessary, and in the end, Flying Ribbon made Rude Striker understand that the fight was pointless, and that they could resolve things in another way and perhaps even become friends.
Rude Striker realized that Flying Ribbon's ribbons weren't a big deal, and that she was much more than that. Meanwhile, Flying Ribbon was happy to now have a friend who looked like her. And so a new friendship begins, one that would make Rude Striker part of the team from now on (But don't think this didn't have consequences; the group of villains was furious about this fact, even more so considering that Rude Striker disobeyed their only order).
Other factors that influenced this situation were the fact that that damned group of villains didn't treat Rude Striker as one of their members, but rather as a mere weapon, devaluing her opinions and desires. But remember that this is a different situation from that of Enfraquecedor, despite some similarities.
Enfraquecedor felt revolted by his creation because, thanks to Embobador, he realized he would only be used as a weapon, and he harbored hatred towards those responsible for his creation for creating something that would be used purely for evil. Now, Rude Striker didn't mind being used for evil; what brought hatred from her was what I said before, which is the issue of not being treated as an individual, being disrespected.
Now, speaking about other aspects of her, She's very impulsive, even more so than Pointy Pest; She's an excellent thief, thanks to her fast flight; she can simply charge at her opponents with everything she has. So, she has great offensive potential on the team as well
Also, she doesn't seem to take anyone seriously; she only starts to consider the idea when she's threatened in a way that makes it impossible to just say "screw it." For example, Pointy Pest arrives and complains to her, and she just replies, "So what? 😒". But from the moment they threaten to remove her from the team (she only cares because it's free housing), she doesn't ignore it and starts to take action.
She loves seeing others get into trouble, especially Pointy Pest, because he gets irritated more easily and he really tries to fight back, and she has absolutely no shame either, being very lazy.
Like, let's say there's a sofa that could fit at least 5 people, she goes there and lies down on it and doesn't give up her seat for anyone.
She also considers Pointy Pest a bad copy of herself (even though she was created as a copy of him, she just doesn't know that).
Also, remember when I said that Flying Ribbon started playing pranks on her brother after Multiple Fractions joined the team? Well, now Rude Striker will be playing pranks alongside Flying Ribbon, and hers definitely annoy him much more than the others'. She knows perfectly well how to ragebait Pointy Pest XD
Take a look at her 3d model too! :P
Phude Hissphiker XDDDDDDD
(REMEMBER THAT THEY ARE AROMANTIC AND DO NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP!!!; if you intend to ship them, remember to warn that it isn't canon.)
As always, I'll start by talking about Embobador, the protagonist of the story :P
I've already told his origin story in old posts, where I explained that he had a tragic past and now wants to make a difference by doing good, contradicting the reason for his origin. Anyway, I created a group for him and his friends, which functions like a group of heroes, somewhat in the style of the Teen Titans, or similar to Miraculous as well (in the sense that there is a considerable number of heroes in the group).
But now, about Embobador fr: In his origin, he was still very childish and didn't have a well-defined mentality, but now that the group is formed, he assumes a leadership role, but only in the sense of representing the team (he only occupies this position because he was the one who founded the group), the orders and strategies come from another member of the team.
As I said, he has his enthusiasm and also a well-defined motivation, which is to want to be good for humanity, and, in general, his emotions don't fluctuate much, and most of the time he is quite confident. In a sense, he feels emotions, but none of them are strong enough to make him lose hope and determination.
One common thing he also did was invite some team members simply because of their optimistic nature and because he saw potential in them, but this naive confidence led him to invite people who were evil but seemed good. Of course, he learned his lesson and became more aware of others, but it caused him trauma that will become a part of him.
He learns in a way very similar to a human, a trait he possesses only thanks to his late creator. His creator worked for years perfecting a program capable of having characteristics analogous to the human psyche, and he did indeed achieve his goal and created this robot that ends up being more human than many humans out there.
His dynamic with others is quite unique, where each team member respects him (in their own way), but he cares about everyone, worries about their problems, and tries to help them as much as he can.
His powers I've already covered up, that he can make people go stupid and that he can stretch his limbs to reach far distances.
Fun fact: He also has a pet, a triangular frog named Weberty :P
Weberty is the result of some biological tests to alter the DNA of frogs, which resulted in a new species that is now less dependent on water.
He's an original character of mine who existed even before Embobador, and I wanted to make him canonical in the story.
What better way to do that than to make him the protagonist's pet?
They also love enjoying the view from the top of a hill far from the city at night, where they can see more stars and sometimes the moon :P
ADS-3.0 is an orange robot that has a very interesting power, the power to over-exceed any characteristic of an individual (including himself), such as strength, speed, intelligence, resistance and even the power of the one inflicted by him. But it can boost only one characteristic at a time, although that doesn't mean he can’t easily boost various individuals at the same time. So he assumes the position of a support for a group, giving buffs to them.
His name stands for Androide Dopador Supremo (supreme doping android in portuguese), and the doping part comes because the substance he uses dopes those inflicted by it (and by dope I mean: to give an individual “drugs” in order to make them perform better). The substance works kinda like Embobador’s, but the main difference being that he shoots it through the cannons on his arms, not needing to touch the target like Embobador.
The idea of him also came from the same rpg that I was playing which introduced Embobador, so I wanted to make something that had the inverse power of him. Initially he had a joke name, since I wasn’t expecting that I would make it turn into something serious, but now he is fine with the name he has.
His design had significantly changed from his original one, where the original had a completely different face, which I made trying to resemble Shockwave from Transformers. In the original he looked more like a kid, but now he looks more serious, and tough. He still has some design traits based on Shockwave by the way, but now his face kinda resembles Blitzwing from the BB movie. He stores the doping substance in the two cylinders on his back.
About his color scheme, I used a more redish orange so that the blue highlights more and overall, i think that the combination of orange, red and blue is just really nice to look at. The orange also really pops in person, and it's beautiful
I think it's funny that it looks like the OG version just got to the gym and became the current one XD
He is the type of character who demonstrates strength, although he doesn't express his feelings much, but in reality has a deep fear of being used for evil and tries to protect himself from it at all costs. He worries about the safety of his friends (like Embobador and everyone else) and wants to ensure everyone is safe. His story resides in a scenario like this: he was created to help and enhance humanity’s capabilities, but he was also seen as an extremely powerful weapon. At some point, he was kidnapped, and someone tried to use him to make them invulnerable and other things that would only benefit themselves. This caused so much chaos that, when the one who used him was finally defeated, he developed an awareness of how dangerous he could be if used for evil, and then became paranoid.
I’ve made 2 models for him, but sadly the second one, which was completed, is corrupted and now I can’t load it anymore, but there are still some pictures of what he looked like. Here's a look :P (These are pics of the same model btw)
At last, here's a song that i think matches his character :P
Hope yall enjoyed discovering him and TYSM for reading my blog :D
Embobador 3000 is a pink and purple robot that wants to help humanity move forward, and he does it by making hero-like stuff such as helping those in need, fighting evil (or just neutralizing it) and also bringing hope to the city he lives in.
The name Embobador 3000 means, in Portuguese, an equivalent to Stupid-inator 3000 or something like that. He also has no gender and sexuality (something that most of my ocs will be, but feel free to make hc), since he is just a robot after all, but I usually use the pronouns he/him for him and he can have feelings, just not those related to romantic attraction, but friendships are welcome.
His name explains 1 of his 2 abilities, it being the ability to make anyone become stupid when he touches his palm on them and says the command. And by stupid I mean, making the brain or anything that works the same on the individual inflicted by it have a bad functioning, but in a way that doesn’t give any permanent damage to it, just makes them a no-brainer for a while. The more he uses this ability, the more affected the individual gets, being even more effective when he activates directly near the brain. The substance that gives the stupidness he stores in the squared tank on his back. The substance gets absorbed through the skin of the victim, just to make it clear how it enters them.
The other ability he has is to extend some of his limbs, helping him reach his hand into far distances and making him more versatile in general. (It isn’t identical to abilities of heroes such as mister fantastic or rubber man, since it is more limited than theirs)
The Idea of making him came out when a friend of mine asked me to play a rpg he made himself, and in there I had the liberty to make any type of character, just with the limit of having a single power or weapon, and then I created Embobador 3000 based on my love to Transformers (even though he isn’t one), which in a rpg perspective, I see as an equilibrated starting character, since he just had the ability to make anyone stupid by the time and had some limits related to it to make it kinda balanced.
His design I made initially based upon V1 from Ultrakill, Optimus Prime and the Mecha skins from Brawl Stars. The reason that he is pink/magenta is because I wanted to make an “male” robot who was pink, since there are almost no famous male robots with that color scheme as well, which I think makes him very unique. The green that is in the details of light on him I chose to have a complementary contrast with the pink, since they are opposites. Other thing in his design that I think makes him unique as well is that he has only three fingers at each hand.
He is very hopeful, and loves seeing others happy because of him. He enjoys giving attention to others' speeches but can also talk a lot about things that he likes, usually games or anything related to robots. He has a traumatic past since he was initially built to serve the military, but his creator/dad wanted to make a last message to him before being executed after finishing creating him. His creator told him to disobey, question and most importantly, that he loves him and that he is free to love, love anyone that he wants to (not in a romantic way, just loving the life that resides in that world). After that the military tried to teach him how to be ready for war and things that involve violence in general, but he disobeyed them and escaped the installation, trying to find refuge far from there. (credits to the same friend that made that rpg, since he also helped me to create the lore for him after)
At last, i’ve also made a 3d model for him (3 times) on Blockbench, it was very pleasing to see something that was once just a drawing becoming 3d :P
So, after all, I really love Embobador, he is like a son to me because I’ve put so much love while making him XD
Here is a song that I think matches his vibes, cuz why not?
Hope yall had fun discovering a part of him and also TYSM for reading my blog :P
From yesterday to today I made some more drawings involving the robot girls from MetalHeartts, and I think the most significant change was to Rude Striker, who now has more white details along her body, along with the new blue detail in the chest area.
Still talking about the colors, Flying Ribbon didn't have a very clear change; it was more of a slight alteration in the shade of red, leaning a little more towards a crimson red.
Now, speaking of some subtle changes that, for me, had a certain impact, I can comment on the slight alteration in their proportions, where now the hips are slightly wider and the torso more tapered, which in a way helps to evoke more of that aspect of being a feminine character. But of course, this won't be a rule for all the female characters I'll create over time; after all, we're talking about robots, right?
I enjoy creating robotic characters precisely because there are very few limits in terms of design. This allows me to create something quite anomalous, difficult to define by gender, and still call it a woman (even though it's a robot, of course).
Well, for now, these are the drawings I have for you. More lore coming soon!
