Day 8/30 #30days30styles: The High High Pony To get the volume in this ponytail, it’s actually 3 sections placed mohawk style through my hair. It makes my life a little easier because this hair is so heavy, if I piled it all on top of my head in one go, a mild breeze could tip me over. I swear my centre of gravity has been shifted significantly. . As you may notice, I haven’t gelled my edges, I don’t touch them, never occurred to me to do it. The only thing I will do is refresh the braids on the perimeter as and when needed. Even though we (me and my hair) have a difficult relationship, I’m on a journey for her to be healthy. . I embrace my hair for what it is, that includes little curled up balls of hair around the edges, hair looking fuzzy after a few days, tangling, the whole kit and caboodle. As long as it's healthy.
