“It is alright.” he replied, though his eyes softened briefly as he appreciated the gesture of the other. “Your well being would be a nice gift, rather than my own repairs.” 

He tapped the bandaged hand lightly and scanned the boy. “You were going to prepare some food for yourself. Would it be alright for me to take care of that? I can do it. I just need to know exactly what you wanted.” It was his way of saying that he should stay safe, that he shouldn’t strain his hand any further, for now.

It also showed he wanted to protect the other, but his system refrained from saying so.

                 “ are you alright? you seem to be dozing off. ” his deep voice called to the younger male. groomed brows were raised in question, tone laced with the slightest hints of concern.
