In my twelve years of teaching, often times I would hear teachers and students get into crosshairs. Teachers complain about students' passivity and students complain on teachers' sternness. I for one, would always end up ranting on how uninvolved my students had become and how every time I conduct lectures the discourse on Philippine history would tend to end in an unstimulating manner. Sadly, in such instances I would find myself caught in that dilemma wherein my frustration button automatically switches on hence making teaching more taxing than it already is . But much of this rancour would disappear once I step inside the classroom and I must admit that being with the young continue to provide me the much needed spur to take the challenge of not simply creating an intellectual atmosphere but creating avenues that will lessen prejudices and expand awareness stretching to embrace a broader perspective. #RandomThoughtsDahilSaObligatoryGroupfie #EmbracingMyCalling #NagpapakaProfoundLangPo #EndingTheYearWithAPositiveThought
