babe wake up, new roman empire just dropped

First club ride of the season! It was about 3C when we started and warmed up to around 10C (37-50F). I had on a lot of layers but there was probably only about 15 minutes when I felt overdressed. I was wearing: a Columbia heat reflecting base layer, a fleecy jersey, my Gabba, a neck warmer, a fleecy headband to cover my ears, full length winter cycling tights, ski socks AND I lined the toes of my shoes with tinfoil and wore booties over the top. It was so awesome to ride outdoors, even if I did feel a bit Michelin Man-esque.

I’m currently in Seattle attending Emerald City Comicon. If you’ve never been to a major comicon and wonder what it’s like, this is pretty much it in a nutshell. It’s so much fun. Seriously.
