Today was absolutely amazing
So, I'm in the IB program at my school, and for English we're doing our oral commentaries this week. I've been studying every single poem we read over and over, and I felt so extremely prepared. And I was. I got a poem that I knew I would do well on AND the discussion was on Hamlet instead of Welty short stories. So that's part 1 of my super-amazing-spectacular day. Part 2 starts at our last kick-off practice for our upcoming marching show. Tonight was the night when our BD finally announced leadership (other than DMs). I felt like I was going to get something good, like section leader and maybe uniform captain again. No. I got better. I got both flute section leader AND woodwind captain! I swear, I almost started crying right there in front of all my band family and everyone's parents. I don't think I've ever been this happy about anything :) Oh, and then part 3 is because I had food waiting for me at home, which was awesome because I had not eaten anything all day except... water o.O
