Sea Serpent - Southern Emerald Ocean
The Grand Cythnai is the largest extant species of giant sea serpent, native to the tropical regions of the World's oceans. Historic accounts from the age of sail describe occasional attacks on smaller wooden ships and human swimmers, though verified accounts in modern times are rare. The marine reptiles have been observed trailing propeller-driven vessels for extended periods - an unexplained behaviour, though one theory suggests that they are attracted to the rhythmic hum of ship engines.
