SOoooo... I know I took a SUPER long hiatus from this story, and most people probably don’t even use Tumblr anymore (including me haha) but I’ve missed this story and interacting with all of you. I’ve missed it way too much.

Guys...

Wingspiral changed my life in so, so many ways. I was some depressed lonely teen. And yet... Dozens of people voluntarily collaborated with me on specials that I wrote myself, I got hundreds of beautiful fanart that I still look at and smile about to this day, and my generous backers on Patreon made it possible for a broke college student in Manhattan to eat lol. I received plushies of my characters as gifts, fan letters, free equipment to continue my work, and met people I still think about daily. For all that and more, I am eternally grateful. I owe it to you guys to finish this, not matter how long it takes! Sabe, Dust, and Rubi still have a long way to go with us, guys! :)

Honestly...

I wasn’t too happy with the start of Lake Luawaga (The current chapter), and it’s one of the reasons I just... left. I felt like the writing was off and story was all over the place, and I could sense how confused you guys were lol. I was confused too. I thought I had a direction but... I didn’t. And it showed. Even now, I’m not sure how to pick it back up.

But...

I'm continuing Lake Luawaga!! Feel free to reread my previous chapters and holiday specials if you need a little refresher on Wingspiral lore! I hope I’m not too late, and whoever stuck around for 7 years, god... thank you. I’m sorry if I’ve let you down, but not this year. This year, I’ve still got 2k+ amazing followers, a new determination, and a beautiful heartfelt story to continue, so let’s GOOO!

An immediate reaction occurred.

The biggest slap Osomatsu could have received was given to his cheek, and Choromatsu spat onto his hand, wiping his mouth. He did not appear the least bit concerned, only taking out a handkerchief to wipe his mouth calmly and coolly. 

“I appreciate you not doing random stuff to my face, thank you.” He said, though internally, it was an entirely different story. 

Choromatsu was screaming at Osomatsu, screaming at himself for even enjoying it. He was his big bro for god’s sake! Sure, maybe they didn’t grew up together, but HOLY COW HIS OWN BROTHER KISSED HIM?! How much shittier could he get?! How much shittier could his own self get?! Not to mentioned he slapped him! Sure, he deserved it, but the red mark wasn’t going away! If it left a mark it wasn’t going to be pretty once the rest of them find out...

Why did he kiss him anyway?!

Choromatsu crashed down onto the floor, bringing his little brother with him as he wrapped his arms around him protectively and hugging him as he dropped. But the moment he was no longer feeling the pain on his behind, Choromatsu immediately removed his hands, raising them up while his mouth immediately scrunched up in his usual scowl, his eyes widening in surprise. 

“W-What are you doing, Ichimatsu?! What was that for? Huh? Oi!” He yelled, unsure if he should blush or yell at his brother for being disgusting. But he didn’t know what, and he didn’t want to hurt Ichimatsu if he really did mean to kiss him. H-Hopefully not, right? 

Oh how more shitty could his brothers get?!

Choromatsu spat out his coffee when he heard Shadow’s words, staring at them with color rising to his cheeks. Okay, what?! He pinched himself, to make sure he wasn’t dreaming, but he avoided Shadow’s gaze. What the...?

He got up from his chair, tugging at his tie and walking over slowly, resting his hands on Shadow’s hips. “Y-You really want to do all those? Here?” he asked quietly, his heart thumping wildly. Put Shadow on the floor... wrestle with them... play with Shadow, but the second request seemed a little one-sided, wouldn’t he be the one on the floor instead dying?

Shadow was especially forward as well, wow.

He snapped out of his stupor, what if this was a way to make him flustered again?! Slight irritation rose, and he scowled at Shadow. “What kind of requests are those?!

Choromatsu almost dropped his books. He turned around, face bright red and embarrassed.

“C-Cute?!” he squeaked, his brow furrowed and his hands curling into fists. Oh, this dragon was at it again! He was blushing furiously, unable to think clearly from the comment alone.

“I-I’m not cute!” He yelled back at Shadow, raising his arm to hide his face behind it, unable to look at Shadow in their eye. Dammit... the dragon would always come up with so many ways to make him lose his composure, and he couldn’t help but fall for it every single damn time!

“N-no fair...y- you are the cute one...” he mumbled the last part.

KISSING IS IN THE PAST. SEND ME A “Can I Eat You?” AND SEE HOW MY MUSE RESPONDS.

“Eh?!” Choromatsu fell to the ground, backing away from the tiger. He scrambled backwards, pressing himself against the wall. He froze, staring at Tigermatsu and trembling in his shoes. “L-Look... I-I... I don’t taste good, you know!” He curled up, backed in a corner.

Really, a person like him, being cornered by a tiger, or well, a tiger version of his brother! Not to mention that he had lost his weapon, which was lying next to the tiger. Most certainly, if it had been his brother who said it, not a tiger version, he might have taken it as a joke, since his brother would never want to eat him that way no matter how much he wished for it but this was a tiger he was looking at. And his stomach was rumbling.

Choromatsu’s face was was pale, fearful. He was going to die tonight, wasn’t he? He was going to be eaten up by his tiger brother and he wouldn’t ever live to appear again. Eaten through and through, from inside to out. He swallowed. If this had been taken in another way it was all fine and dandy.

“G-Good kitty... Very, very good kitty...”
