The dinosaurs were alive. There were also three tributes left and Esmerelda was one of them. Emerald couldn’t help the knot her stomach was tied in and the knot was just getting tighter and tighter. Her tribue could win and she had no idea what to other than to simply watch.

“I don’t know if I can do this, she muttered to the person standing next to her. “How do you do this?” Surely the other Victors had some idea. What Emerald really wanted to know was what you did next when your tributed died so close to the crown. Esmerelda had a good chance but Monroe and Eliza were fierce and deserved to win too. Any of them would make a good Victor, better than her even.
