Popping in to say I just found out there was a 1980 stage musical for Galaxy Express put on by the Sochiku Opera Company, which is similar to Takarazuka Revue in that it's an all-women group. So cool lady Harlock!!! And Count Mecha!! Also the costumes kick ass, and the songs are really unhinged and fun. I just need everyone to know.

Emeraldas is a chicken-girl.

She doesn’t have any lore — I was mostly drawn to her design.

Her very existence breaks the logic of my universe, but I’ve come up with a way she could still fit. Let’s say in this world, there are animals born with human intelligence. Through magic, they’re able to take on human form. But staying in a fully human body feels unnatural to them, and once they’ve experienced it, their original form seems incomplete. So they settle on something in between.
