Part of her was glad that the G-Warrior had been out of commission for the Emerald mission, she wasn’t sure she could force herself to get back in it ever again. Taking a deep breath to shove the emotions down (at least until she got back to Mor Dhona and could maybe talk to G’raha about it if he wasn’t out on a mission) she looked back up at Rex with a sad smile, letting it melt into a scowl a few seconds later.
“I’ll save Alfonse and the other kids, and take Valens’ kneecaps too,” the tiny monk promised softly, reaching up as high as she could to give his hand a pat.
