I broke out my emergency radio today. The internet is still spotty and it’s getting more difficult to get current news. I haven’t seen any new newspapers for a while and although some news websites are still functioning, the internet being down means getting the news in a timely manner is not happening. Nobody seems to have a solid answer for what’s going on. The phone company is pointing fingers at the internet companies, who are pointing back. Typical. My radio has a hand crank and some small solar panels on the back… two options if the power goes out. I really wanted to use this radio for camping, not for the whatever is happening right now.
