after leaving her agency, her ex partner is assigned to track her down + kill her if she doesn’t return (change of heart?? past romantic feelings?? angst??)
emerson going to the person who kidnapped + primarily trained her for answers (vioLENCE?)
friendship outside of her world where they meet like at a bar and emerson can’t tell them anything about her life but she really loves them for letting her to have a sense of normalcy that she never had
