Emil x Andrew Headcanons:

These two tend to keep to themselves quite often. They're the type of couple who look like friends in public, but behind closed doors, they relax and dote on each other quite often.

Andrew tries to help Emil with his nightmares. He'll spoon him and whisper quiet sweet-nothings in his ear, or sometimes he won't say anything at all and just gently kiss the back of his head.

Emil tries to do something for him in return. Maybe try and make something for him, asking Ada for any ideas. She recommended maybe making a charm for him to hang off his belt. (Andrew would wear it every day)

Ada and Andrew are about quite literally the only two people Emil is comfortable with. It was difficult for him to even warm up to Andrew at one point.

Andrew always asks Ada for advice on how to help Emil more, especially since she knows him the best after all.

Niether one likes social gatherings, so they just stay inside for the most part. Sipping on tea and eating something they made together.

Emil also tried to make Andrew a sun hat, but it didn't work out. Andrew thought it was sweet that he tried anyway.

Since there are both rescuers, they both stick together on ciphers as both of them are slow with it. One is not having the best eye sight, and the other is not being a fan of decoding with anyone else but Ada and Andrew.

Emil is always showing up at the last second to help Andrew despite being told to escape. It always ends with Andrew being the one to escape and Emil getting chaired... He gets scolded lightly afterward.

Emil knows how to do bandages surprisingly, as he has watched Ada do it countless times on him. So he copies the same skill on Andrew. Andrew wonders how he picks up skills so easily.

Overall, they're a pretty quiet and comfortable couple! This could easily be a poly relationship with Adaemil if anyone wants that!

-whenever he messes up a callibiration while co-decoding he just looks around like "who did that? "

-when ever he zaps the hunter he barely fights the urge to stop running and burst out laughing

-While in the match lobby he always tries to get a peek at who the hunter is with elaborate schemes but they never ever work and everyone makes fun of him for it

-When he opens the exit gate he just stands there waiting just in case someone needs him to zap the hunter to help them escape

Explanation:

While it might be a cute pairing if given time to develop, I think Emil and Madoka are too similar in character to make for an interesting dynamic; a good romantic dynamic in my opinion always stems from the characters’ abilities to bounce off each other with their character traits and form a harmony between opposing character traits combined with similar motives and experiences. This is why Emil and Marta work so well together; Marta’s personality is very high energy (which contrasts with Emil’s “Emil” side) and idealistic to a fault (which contrasts with Emil’s “Ratatosk” side). Their ways of dealing with their emotions are very opposite, which means that if one character has trouble handling a situation, the other can immediately jump in and provide support with their own talents. This is what makes any ship work in my opinion; this is chemistry.

With Madoka and Emil, their way of dealing with their emotions is just too similar. Their relationship would never go beyond both of them apologizing profoundly for the same things at the same time and not being able to help the other out, because they just wouldn’t do anything different than the other person is already doing in first place. To me, the best relationships are based on a healthy balance of similar motives and contrasting personalities -Madoka just can’t provide that to Emil. So I’m “Meh” on this one.

Food/Cooking Headcanons

Teddie

Great at cooking fried food that’s served at Junes, such as fried noodles, Takoyaki or fried squid.

Sucks at cooking absolutely anything else.

Has a very unbalanced diet and a bottomless stomach, but isn’t actually picky with food

Likes Sweetstuff, noodles, ice cream, and snackfood. Has a tendency to let leave a trail of half-eaten snacks where he’s going.

Dislikes Bitter Vegetables

Emil 

Can cook just about anything, is talented and considers cooking his hobby. His food generally tastes very good.

Presentation of his food varies from “Work of Art” to “What the hell is this!?” depending on his mood during cooking.

Has a balanced diet, dislikes eating a lot of the same kind of food in a row and prefers variety. He eats Junkfood, but balances it out with a healthy diet otherwise

Hates spicy or bitter herbs and will never use them in his cooking

Loves to add nuts and almonds to his dishes when it fits. 

Xion

Can’t cook at all due to a lack of experience. Would probably learn it if somebody taught her.

Likes pretty much any food that doesn’t remind her of the cooking of the members of Organization XIII (most of them were terrible at it). 

Is still trying to figure out most of her preferences.

Shares Teddie’s weakness for Ice Cream.

Has a tendency to over-salt everything for sentimental reasons.

-Emil won't mind if someone physically takes advantage of him, especially if it's a man. -He has a dark, vicious side that only emerges when Jude's in danger. It's similar to Jude's merciless, sadistic side. -He's very gullible, even to the most obvious scams. (Excluding Defense Attorney Emil)

Emil Icial Headcanon: Original Emil

-Emil has taken life before, but not his Defense Attorney self. Original Emil took two lives after being back into a corner. The lives Emil took are two of the reasons behind his horrid murder.

Emil's M!A: Defense Attorney Canons

-Emil studied law alongside Apollo Justice and his younger brother Jude. He took up law because of a drive to protect his brother, and other innocent souls.

-He stumbles as a Defense Attorney at times, tripping over himself in court. When nervous, he stutters right in the courtroom-whether he’s presenting evidence or counter-attacking the opposition. When his nerves fail him, the much stronger Jude takes the lead.

-Emil is prone to blushing, and becomes utterly useless if the prosecutor happens to be a handsome man. Jude physically shoves Emil aside if the prosecution turns his brother to mush.

-When the case is down to the wire, Emil becomes as strong and feisty as Jude. In some cases he’s even stronger, and is surprisingly clever. By word of mouth, the Icial clients know Emil’s at his very best when cornered.

-Emil works perfectly well alongside Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice and the others. Just can’t function around Klavier Gavin.

Emil Headcanons: Personality

-Jude Icial seems like he'd be the more reckless one, but Emil's the one that'll do something insane way before Jude does. Emil was once drunk in a club he performed in, dancing and almost naked. Jude physically dragged him out of the club. -Emil, on a whim, put on a dress and actually looked cute in it. He could easily be mistaken for a woman in feminine clothes. -He'll do something like ride a tractor across the freeway, even though he knows it could be a potential disaster. -Emil's very much like a kitten, warm, loving and in eternal need of cuddles.
