it’s not that business was BAD, but when it wasn’t a holiday-related time of year, business was pretty slow. florencia didn’t mind too much. they still got to spend their day surrounded by flowers and mixing them in different ways. while she already felt like she was a master of the florist craft, there was nothing better than keeping those skills sharp. she’s in the back room when she hears the jingle signaling the opening of the door. she grabs the bouquet she’s practicing on and heads out to the main part of the shop. “welcome to the stalk market,” she greets before setting the vase down on the counter. it’s only then they see who has actually walked into the shop. “oh, um, hi.” way to sound natural. “what can i, uh, what can i do for you?”
