Fic Writing Meme
i was tagged by licieoic to list what i think are the top five fics i've written. hmm? really? i have to choose? oh and why i think they're my favs. so here goes.
Why Did You Stay: well this was my first fic and i just really got off on the idea of rewriting the first season with a rumbelle centric theme. i wanted to do it my way bc there just wasnt enough belle in season one and i just love writing her.
Her Servant: hmm...i loved writing this one bc i just loved having belle push rumpel's buttons. it was fun and i regret nothing...no matter what jazz says.
Her Little Secret: bc apparently i had the idea that i wanted angst and emotional turmoil that would make me sob while i was writing it in an attempt to short out my keyboard from all the tears? oh yeah and i really couldn't get the idea out of my head that they'd met before their infamous deal. i just loved writing this.
HOW THE HELL AM I ONLY SUPPOSED TO CHOOSE FIVE!?!?!
Dragon's Breath: oooh that one was fun!! i don't know how i even came up with the idea. i hadn't watched Excalibur in forever (though it's one of my favorite Arhurian movies) but somehow the charm of making got stuck in my head and my muse started poking me with a stick forcing me to incorporate it into a rumbelle fic. again...i regret NOTHING!!!
and i'd have to say my last choice was a toss up between Love Letters or Eclairs & Chocolate Kisses. i caught so much hell on FB for writing parts of Love Letters, but it gave me a chance to really explore different things that no one else had done and see what i could do to bedevil rumpel if belle had magic of her own. and with E&CK that was the first thing i'd written in like twenty years and i incorporated rumbelle into it and that story will always just be special to me. and you dont see too much regency rumbelle, so it was just so much fun to do.
