Pheonix hissed in pain as they tried to clean an injury on their leg. The already scarred limb had flared up during the case, causing them to get caught in the explosion.
"Here..let me help."
Emily's voice was soft as she spoke, taking the disinfectant cloth and helping, wiping the blood off the gash.
Phoenix chuckled a bit, relaxing slightly.
"You're amazing, you know that?"

Phoenix chuckled, leaning down to kiss Emily's forehead.
