Happy belated birthday to John Lithgow who turned 71 yesterday. My introduction to this gifted actor was way back when in Buckaroo Banzai (still one of my all-time favourite movies); subsequently I seen him play many roles and I always thought of him in terms of comedy but always with awesome acting abilities. Then I watched him in Dexter and he made my blood run cold.
