Mary: I know this sounds silly but… when I was a kid, I used to hope that I would see my mom's ghost. Her spirit, whichever. I knew I couldn't see her again, but... that's why I always wanted to come here every year.
Hunter: Babe, I kinda figured that one out a million years ago.
Mary: After she died, I found this book about ghosts at the library. It was just stories, but I really latched onto it. Read it until it was tattered. I never actually returned it—I told Dad that I lost it and he had to pay the replacement cost.
