Waves (2019)

I think about waves a lot and ik a lot of people don't really like it (crazy) because they think that the plot is too sloppy or not a lot happens but i LOVE IT.

I love it. The soundtrack, the visuals, the characters, the different plot lines like ouuhh yes. Like the first half is chaos chaos chaos, because of the amount of pressure Tyler has on him from his dad, i would also lose my mind but not the extent he did and you're sat there STRESSED. And then the second half with emily plays and it's the most beautiful healing thing you've ever watched. It's the equivalent of being slapped and then kissed. Fantabulous. Although nothing makes me laugh more than some of the stories that tyler was posting though 💀

Do people actually do that???? Any residents of florida or just the US in general pls feel free to answer, I'm curious. "Morning flex 💪😩" okay buddy.

Also, cast? STACKED. wdym you've got maddy perez, Maya Arnez, Danny O'Neill, Angelica Schuyler AND N'Jobu 😭😭

i relate to emily from waves sm when she was talking about how much she “hates” her brother bc of what he did. i relate bc my brother put my household through hell and back with him wanting to be on the streets and steal (esp from us)

the scene where her and her dad was fishing and talking? that was literally me and my dad talking about it

that night i lashed out i was so angry. angry at my mom for letting his behavior go on for so long. angry at him for being like that. angry at me bc i forget that i have a thief in my OWN house. i forget to hide things (like my weed pen). all of this anger started literally 3-4 years ago when he stole my apple watch that i was gonna get for christmas

and it all sounds stupid and i’m just rambling but yeah
