"oh, yeah. i come from a musical family. my parents were both singers and both myself and my brother are ones too. though i suppose i also picked up the writing aspect on my own. not all of my songs are finished though. sometimes i just hit a block."

"yeah, it's all legit or was at least. collegiate acapella competitions and the group i was in even competed at the world championships. it was an amazing experience."

"you can sit across if you want. i'm just finishing up an assignment for a class of mine," emily spoke up as she continued to write in her notebook. her eyes often darted to the textbook beside her as she also flipped between a few pages. besides the assignment she also found herself taking notes as well.

"chloe, chloe beale? is that really you?" emily shouted as she ran down some park stairs. she hadn't seen any of the former bellas around nor any of the new ones and she had missed them all a lot. so she prayed this wasn't her mistaking someone else as chloe instead.

emily had been staring at one of her old songs in her notebook when she found herself humming along to an imaginary beat. it was the one they had sung at worlds with the bellas, flashlight. not even a minute after she began the humming she began to softly sing the song.
