Soul-kissing

Some cultures believe that a tongue

kiss can connect two souls,

becoming one.

It starts soft

and slow

and sensual,

quietly sending the tips of our fingers

on an adventure to discover

strands of hair

and dimples

and the backs of knees.

Then, there is this spark,

somehow,

this spark that just ignites

somewhere between fingertips

and dimples,

becoming accelerated

and feverous

and seductive.

I press against his lips

as hard as I can

because I don’t want to stop.

I don’t want him or this

moment to escape.

And he pushes against my waist,

in the small of my back,

so we can be smashed together,

as close as possible.

Everything around me gets hazy

and fuzzy

and warm.

We forget where we are, so we start

feeling, exploring with our palms, pressing

lips, grazing

tongues, tasting,

the salty skin on our shoulders.

I long for the day

to feel a kiss of such strength,

touching my soul.

Thank ya kindly! Like always, I just blog what I like, so it's nice that other people like the same stuff and appreciate the collection of it on my blog. I have taken somewhat of a break from taking photos just to try and go over the hoards of images I have already taken. I'm slowly, but surely, getting back into it all. The Annie Leibovitz exhibit I visited last night was some great inspiration. I need to invest in some more equipment as well, I have been putting off some purchases for far too long.
