Asian stereotypes? Yes, and the director basically is a huge fan of Japanese tokusatsu films/ACG subculture. Regarding the Hong Kong background, you’ll see something similar to Cowboy Bebop. If you’re cool with that, PR is okay.

The robots look rather like magnified Gundam, I think. regarding how HK and Asians might be portrayed, I would not mind the stereotyping so much if I knew what to expect and to what extent it would feature in the film. That is, I'd be less likely to throw something at the screen.

Broadway 2014

Quillbethere: Great post that Jesse Eisenberg and Vanessa Redgrave will return in"The Revisionist" in New York 2014. If true, please shout out ASAP which theater and dates. Would love to see the play and those talents up close an personal but have to travel a bit to get to NYC. So have to plan ahead. Thanks ahead of time for any updates.

once i thought watching broadway shows was expensive until i got to know the craziness of basketball, an arena ticket of a high profile match could cost $400~500 (no even the front rows). jesse must spend a lot of money watching NBA games lol
