At this time I will NOT be posting or updating The Fuck It List. That one was close to my heart in terms of tone, etc and I don't want it ruined by people who love AI.

I am doing this because despite the assholes and racists on here, many many many of you supported me through the years and I don't want to let you down.

There were literally hundreds of comments and messages that y'all sent to me that touched me deeply. I don't think I realized what my work meant to so many!

Every day I wake up and pray to the tumblr gods that you will bless us with your writing again. I deeply miss your versions of Joel

So I love you for that. It's incredibly kind of you to send me those words

As for writing...

What if I told you I was a glutton for self inflicted punishment and have started on a "soulmates" Joel Miller story...?

It's a little different, reader is still "you" but written from first person perspective. Who knows, maybe people will hate it. 🤷‍♀️ I have found it a fun challenge.

There will be of course the auteurdelabre story staples:

- enemies-ish to lovers

- grumpy Joel

- miscommunication trope

- soulmate tattoo thing (no idea what it's called)

- angst

- jealousy

- smut

- and of course HEA

I don't plan on it being too many chapters but you never know.

The restaurant is quiet, the food is delicious and despite this pleasant start to our evening it appears that all my cousin Jackie can think of is ways to stress me out. "Why? Worried Prince Charming is going to freak out when he wakes up with an infinity sign on his wrist?"

"As if I'd get something that tacky." I take another sip of my overpriced martini and roll my eyes at my cousin. She's already tipsy, her face flushed. It's her twenty ninth birthday and she insisted on a birthday dinner just the two of us. She has her big party planned for next week, of course. She's a popular woman; beautiful and effortlessly charming. But birthday dinners are always just the two of us, as has been the tradition since she lost her parents in a car crash at nineteen. "Please?" she says pulling at my arm from across the table, almost upsetting her half full wineglass. "Not a fucking chance."
