The first screenshot shows Amelie as a child when her parents gave her her first camera. I chose this shot because it captures how Jean-Pierre uses high/low angles while still keeping the subject of the shot centered.

The second screenshot I chose shows Amelie and her father placing a gnome in the garden. I love this scene because of the color composition and how it complements the placement of the father, the gnome and Amelie. Everything works so well together and there is so much beauty in the details of the shot.
