Rabastan had been on his way back from the pub, always pretty dead when he was out and about. He preferred it this way. Fewer muggles, fewer chances in running into the idiot brigade and then he saw someone. It couldn’t be. He hadn’t seen her in a very long time. 

“Emma?” There were few people who could make Rabastan run or show much emotion. But she was definitely one of him. Their engagement being purely for their parents benefit but their friendship was real. He ran to her. “Emma are you alright?”

Rabastan listened to her speak, taking a drag from the cigarette between his fingers. "You are who you are." He smiled at her. "You don't need to explain to me, my dear. Though I am hoping I never was one of those misogynist morons." A very slight chuckle escaping him, trying to keep the mood lighter. "I am glad you don't feel like you need to pretend to be someone you're not anymore and you can be yourself."
