Who likes to get really into dressing up for Halloween? Neither until Lucas came along, Emm would pester Davey that they needed to sort out family costumes.
Who is more likely to drag the other to a Halloween party? 100% Emm, every year Davey tries to convince her that staying in is a better idea (aka avoiding Marlene)
Who cooks the turkey on Thanksgiving? Both, mostly Davey but Emm can’t resist helping
Who is glued to the television watching football? Emm watches the Quidditch when Davey is in his study. If it’s a big game she’ll convince him to watch it with her and try to explain everything to him.
Who spends the whole time cleaning for the family to show up? Emm, they aren’t extremely messy people (except Daveys study) so it’s basically a flick of her wand to clean up abandoned mugs of tea
Whose family do they spend most of the holidays with? Usually just them and Lucas for Christmas day, Christmas eve with Emms family in Brighton and then a few days after Christmas at the Loch with Daveys family
Which of them likes to sing Christmas carols? Emm sings them when they get stuck in her head, usually Christmas Eve.
Who can’t stop watching A Christmas Story, on repeat, all day? Neither, Davey gets inspiration and keeps leaving so they’re lucky if they get through the full movie once and Emm gets too bored sitting still.
Do they prefer an angel or star on top of their tree? Star, it’s enchanted so it twinkles before flying around the tree like a shooting star.
Do they have a fake tree or cut down a real one? Real until Lucas was born and Davey was convinced he’d swallow some fallen pines so they switched to fake
Which one gets antsy about making the other open their gifts before the holiday? Davey, Emmeline is a great secret keeper
