Born and raised in a leafy green village on the skirts of Bath, United Kingdom Emmy was the true definition of an English rose. She was beautiful, smart and had the whole world at her feet. She moved to America when she was 18 years old to pursue her dream of becoming a model. She lived a happy and comfortable life, her natural good looks and sunny out look on life allowing her to rise quickly through the ranks in the industry. That was until she met Benjamin, an American solider and his best friend Ryan. Ben and Emmy were together for two years, and a part from her obvious dislike of his best friend they were happy.

Emmy went on to get married and divorced to a friend of her brothers, before reuniting with Ryan for a short and brief relationship. They know co parent their twins and Emmy remains focused on providing the best life for them.

An argument with Ryan, drunk and in the heat of the moment Emmy took him to bed and ended up falling pregnant. She announced her pregnancy the day that both Ben and Ryan left for deployment. Ben never made it home, and on his death bed he admitted that he knew he didn't get Emmy pregnant and made Ryan promise to always care for them.
