Dreams

Last night I dreamed I was back in Corpus, I had blond hair and was driving a very expensive new car and I drove past someone who looked familiar.  I slowed down and stopped and it was my old buddy emo Dave from when I worked at the mall.  Emo Dave had a band called The Seduction back in the day, they were a generic screamo band but they were good, had a huge following. 

He and I were good friends in the way ppl are when they have no one else to hang out with and their sightline is limited to their own backyard.   We were both into Rise Against and the second Rise against show we went to he bought me a set of stickers and we sang in the front row together.  I put the stickers up b/c they were so precious to me and hid them so well I never found them again.  :(

About the time I left the mall he left town to join some other scream band up north and we had some sort of falling out because one of his friends stole some money from my business when I trusted them to work for me. 

From time to time I still think about Emo Dave.  He’d be about 35 now.  It was nice to dream about him.  Almost like old times.
