ooooh that’s so hard! i love all of them!! i want them all to be loved!!! but i guess i’d say vash?
vash medea my beloved lil guy. 5’11, 17, orphaned, BPD, and painfully devoted to his little sister. he’s the head of the newspaper club at his high school and he does shady deals with his girlfriend’s dad to fund his sister (kazuki’s) gender transition.
vash does die fairly early on (a decision i have come to regret) but hey at least he gets two wonderful boyfriends in the afterlife (one of them is a ruler of the afterlife and the other is a maniacal president)

The biggest lie she’s ever told; that she had never enjoyed her work. Mirana knew exactly what she was doing the second she picked up Amaimon. and in the beginning, it did bring a smile to her face to hear the discordant notes of human souls. but after a century, every single beg to stay alive started to break her. no longer did a chord of agony from Amaimon’s slash bring her a sick sense of happiness. every. single. day, she would dismiss Amaimon, and watch as the souls paraded in to be judged. every life, one that she had taken.
