hell yeah man. i like the idea of having more choices and so on. it adds versatility to the game so that you can take different routes and i’m glad that you used your resources to make it
thanks dc! that was my intention from the get-go, because there are really only three armor and tool sets worth your time in minecraft; leather armor with stone tools, iron armor and tools, and then diamond armor and tools (gold stuff is a joke). with my mod though, you could turn, well hang on:
it takes 4 coal to make a coal chunk
32 coal for a stack of 8 coal chunks + a piece to smelt the chunks
24 carbon ingots for a full armor set and 11 ingots for each tool
thats 35 ingots total, which divided by 8 is 4 remainder 3
4 * ((4 * 8) + 1) + ((4 * 3) + 1) = total coal
132 + 13 = 145 coal for a full set of carbon armor and tools
145 divided by 64 coal per stack is 2 remainder 17
so thats 2 full coal stacks with a stack of 17 as well
Still, you could get 2 and a ¼ stacks of coal with few stone picks and enough mining, so even at the beginning stages of a world it's easy to get some good things, as it should be
