In an otherwise dead universe, a cathedral orbits the Sun. Named the Hand of God by its inhabitants, the station is the last bastion against the encroaching darkness brought about by the Devil and his servants: soulless creatures called vampires. With the Sun - God's Light and Shield - as their guide and defender, warrior priests hunt the vampires on the station, protecting God's flock from those who wish them ill. 

Soleil and Tyvern are two such warrior priests, raised in the church to be ruthless and just killers. Hiding their intimate relationship from their elders, the two work together to hunt down the vampire clans of the station.
