The red hood takes the city by storm - literally. He rampages and burns, and the city burns with him; it rages with winds that cut flesh and fires that leave ash as a young man comes home with hate in his veins.
Tim’s control is kept in a tight vice, but under the surface, his feelings simmer and boil.
He’s lost it, before, never to good results.
When his parents first said “Our trip got extended” the windows of the manor all shattered around him.
Tim sat, still and quiet, as Leslie pulled shards out of his body that night, but he knew at that moment that this couldn’t happen again.
So Tim smiled, and Tim bore, and Tim kept it all under lock and key.

Then, everything changes. Bruce is gone, and his friends are gone, and all Tim has left is the mission, and Robin.
So when Dick says “I’m giving Robin to Damian”, the dam finally bursts— and out, and out, his feelings explode, and the lock he’s held tight for all of that time is suddenly cinders in the wind as cases burst open and computer screens shatter and the world screams out his sorrow around him.
Tim flees with the cover of chaos.
