Wednesday night UCFH faced off against #15 nationally ranked University of Rochester. An hour before the game the regional ranking came out where Rochester was ranked #1, Skidmore college was ranked #2 and we were ranked #4. Skidmore, sits ahead of us in the national ranking even though we beat them 4-1 earlier in the season.

We walked in the Rochester game ready for battle. We knew we could win if we played our game. We did just that. We played to our best ability, did what we had to do and won 2-1 in overtime. If you were a spectator at the game you would have thought we just won our conference championship.

We know that at the end of the day the national ranking really doesn’t matter but being able to crack the top 20 is a pride thing. Just like the quote says, when people tell us we can’t do it, we’ll just prove that we can.

I'm sorry for bugging you with quite a long ass post.

What the heck happened?

So my friends and I entered my school's talent show and long story short, a producer from Toronto who happened to be in the audience told us to record it professionally at a studio and make a music video for it. It will be publicized on youtube and the radio.

We also decided the name of our band is going to be called "Empire 8" if you have any other suggestions please pm me, we have 8 members.

What is our goal?

We are aiming for hopefully, thousands of views on youtube, and a chance to be played on our local radio (or possibly more?) We'd like our friends, (I consider you guys my friends too) to help us reach that goal. I personally don't plan on making it big, but i know one of my friends is, and I would be so grateful and happy if you guys would help him reach his dream.

So what would I like you all my lovely followers to do?

- reblog this post to get word around, my friends and I will appreciate it :3

- promote and support us when our video is released! by the end of December or early January

- not unfollow me once you hear my terrible voice LOL

Why should we help you?

- errr...well hopefully because you like me as a person, or my blog
