I just fell down a lore‑rabbit‑hole reading about Emples, and honestly… I’m obsessed!
These so‑called toad‑goblins of the Globiuz universe aren’t your typical fantasy cannon fodder. They’re the strange, thick‑skinned remnants of the chaotic Radix era, shaped by chemical upheavals and swamp‑born mutations. Ugly? Absolutely. But also weirdly fascinating.
What I love is how they break the usual fantasy mold. Instead of being locked into the “mindless minion” role, Emples show up everywhere — from rural marshlands to mega‑cities — doing everything from grunt work to becoming foremen, blacksmiths, even squad captains. They’re not brilliant, but they’re tough, immune to half the diseases out there, and apparently excellent at logistics and siege work.
They’re like the universe’s stubborn, warty middle‑managers of chaos.
If you’re into worldbuilding, creature design, or just love the oddballs of fantasy ecosystems, this little deep‑dive is worth a look.
