I finally had some time to continue my work. Three are (I Hope) my final result of world map (it's like the third version). First the plain one:
It's a bit streached but it has its reasons for that.
The one that is on the right is Pelma, the middle one is Alekno, the one on the left is Mazok and the last one that's the highest is Noter.
Now terrain!
Follow by *insert drums* tectonic map!!!
There's a reason for everything, even the mountains do naturally I had to do the tectonic plates (I think that what it's called in english, I'm to tired to check tbh)
I have no idea if I done it right but it is what it is and I am very nad at geography ':))
The last one- climat (also no idea if i done it right, keep on mind that the planeta is tilted, i have no idea how to explain it):
I had the most trouble with this one but I did it somehow.
I have the continent maps almost ready, I just realized I have to make a river/ lake maps too and I don't have them yet.
I just realized that a road map of the continent will be a pain in the ass... FuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuQ... Well I did that to myself.
One important fact that I should have mention before is that three continents haven't came to be like that naturally, it's the Kelestos doing. For a reason I cannot mention right now.
Any questions class?
I mayyy have procrastinated writing by making a VERY basic map! I will be fleshing it out a bit more, along with making a map of the city.
Luckily for now I don’t really need to worry about what is outside of our main city Tridia.
Tridia was formed to basically keep “the bad” out and is run fully by humans .
It mostly consists of humans with a few hybrid slums. No one leaves and no one enters.
It is also believed that most of the world outside of Tridia is in ruin or ran by nomadic hybrid cults.
I am working on my timeline, it’s so hard to lay everything out on paper especially when you’ve been peppering history in like three different journals lol
yo guys I'm creating a new world again and seriously i have a question how the fuck do i come up with names for each species and their villages ect bro like how am i supposed to shit names out i cant come up with shit for names
Some practices of Halmish Artillerymen
In general, trained Halmish artillerists are expected to know a good, advanced baseline combination of Geomancy, Aeromancy, Pyromancy and to a lesser extent, Hydromancy in order to serve their duties properly. Such knowledge of spellcraft is downright necessary in order to let the Halmish artillery arm achieve the effectiveness that it is known for, and without it, Halmland would lose a crucial edge over its enemies, all larger and more populous powers than it.
When setting up points to emplace and fire artillery, Halmish artillerists are expected to use Geomancy in conjunction with basic fieldcraft and camoflage to make reasonably well-concealed, defensible positions to fire from. Trenches, depressions, tunnels, pillboxes, and if necessary, redoubts and casemates are used commonly to hide and protect the guns.
Before firing, a good artillery crew is expected to cast an Aeromantic spell to muffle the noise of the gun and the overall battery as much as possible. This is done in order to reduce the acoustic signature of Halmish artillery, so that it is more difficult for the enemy to locate —and thus destroy— the guns.
Knowledge of Pyromancy and Aeromancy helps the artillerists keep the combustion, smoke and heat within the barrels in check, ensuring the guns and barrels do not get worn out too quickly. In conjunction with decent Hydromancy, they can cool down the barrels faster and allow for a quicker return to fire missions, and a good grasp of Geomancy will also allow them to look after their guns properly and ensure they are in good condition.
Types of artillery shells the Halmish Army may use! (WIP)
-Shrapnel shells: Send out sharp, deadly splinters across the area
-High Explosive (HE) shells: Primarily uses explosive shockwaves in the air to deal damage
-Enhanced High Explosive (EHE) shells: HE shells that have their shockwave further strengthened by an Aeromantic spell, making the area of effect wider and the power greater
-Stonetearer shells: Shells enchanted to crack, tear and disintegrate earthly and metallic substances within the area of effect. Highly effective against buildings and fortifications
-Incendiary shells: Shells that spray potent burning substances across a large area
-Corrosion shells: Shells that send out poisonous, corrosive liquid out into a wide area
-Chain lightning shells: Shells that send out spreading tendrils of electricity across a wide area
Given the literal translations of jodan, chūdan, gedan, and waki no kamae, you can probably just have your swordsmen in a fantasy setting call them the high, middle, low, and side guard.
