Okay, here’s one for you: Capabilities/limitations of the robot arm?
Limitations? Bison.
*snickers* Okay, so a real answer.
Clearly the robot arm was built with a HUGE lifting capacity. Not only has it hoisted both brothers-- well, Martin anyway, who's the only one with any weight sorry Chris:
But it's also lifted them PLUS the amphisub. Plus whatever water probably leaked onboard.
(Okay, so I don't have one specifically of the sub being lifted out, but we know it happens.)
The arm was clearly made with lifting in mind. If it had any real limitations, I'd say precision. It's kind of clumsy, and gets harder to control the longer it goes out. Aviva knocking everything in the Tortuga over in Whale of a Squid comes to mind.
Now, it HAS been used for precision with success, to a point.
(Which I didn't have a cap of either. C'mon Zumi get in the game)
But this isn't really what the robot arm is for, so it's not trotted out for this very often. So that'd probably be its biggest limitation.
