Just a request- I am looking for fan fiction recommendations for "that fic where Vader kills Palpatine and puts one of his kids on the throne."
(This happens (late) in "The Princess, the Smuggler, and the Sith Lord's Son" by Sassaphras. Vader leads a military coup against Palpatine, after Palpatine has Luke arrested. )
(I have also read "The Second Emperor" by loosingletters, where Vader finds Luke early, kills Palpatine, and makes his 10 year old son Emperor.)
Just curious as to if there are other such fics. I know that the relationship between Palpatine and Vader is f'ed up. But I sort of want that AU where instead of taking his kid(s) to the Emperor, Vader just goes for killing Palpatine.
