Okay okay but can we get a worried dad! Jake because how adorable would that be?! Like you guys have a little baby d daughter and she had a cough that won't go away and she can't stop crying and he's just in full on poppa bear mode! Uh! My heart melts at the thought! Especially if she's still really tiny and he had huge hands but when he deals with her he's SO gentle!
Late answer but here we go, it just happens that we all need something soft and healing during this tough time. And have you seen Jake recently, he looks so warm and soft and snuggly.
I imagine Jake is the type of dads that, even though he’s extremely worried, he keeps himself appearing calm because it will help his baby calm herself down (by the way, this is backed by science, small children feel calmer if the adults around them appear to be calm). He would wrap his arm around her, completely covering with his arms and chest. And then he would gently pat her on the back, easing her breathing until she stops coughing.
Oh, imagine he sings a lullaby to his baby daughter.
