But ask made me think of an old art piece that I decided to redraw/render up more c:
The Waclu-Eglin are one of the alien species in my worldsetting and are telepathic c: They call humans "loud thoughts" because humans can't silence their mind voice so it is like having someone shouting their innermost thoughts in a room XD;
The Waclu-Eglins try to be polite and act surprise about what humans tell them and they don't know anything.
what if any of your ocs met a alternative version of themselves what would they do and how do they react?
Actually, this is a HUGE part of the story of my Sci-fi Worldsetting involving the character Insector! He struggles a lot with his identity of who he was in the past who is a radically different person than he is now!
Both characters above are Insector. Left is his past self. Right is him now... can't go into too much detail, but know the struggle of identity between past and present self is big point, so why I chose Insector to answer this ask = w =
(this one has gathered so much dust ; w ; My fault for posting an ask game...while trying to work through lots of commissions. Forgot the original numbers for the ask BUT recall one of the three was OC favorite numbers so.... here is an answer!)
Insector, Joe, and Skelly, having their usual break and Joe's mind breaking when learning about more about his alien bros. Especially Skelly. His engineer mind can accept Insector's people having an ungodly amount of other not known to man numbers...but fact Skelly's people just decided no numbers breaks him.
But always something I thought about in building alien cultures is how they probably do numbers/think about numbers and math is probably radically different and mind boggling to how humans would do it c:
...Skelly likes the human number eight for its aesthetics.... Insector just looks at human mathematics like a disappointed teacher watching kids do voodoo math and stumbling on the correct solution.
which OC of yours gets tricked into falling for a deez nuts or ligma joke? this question is for science!

Insector would fall for it, more because he does not know much about human culture and some of the engineers would 100% take advantage of that...while they can.
They better hope he doesn't find out. His species are known for no sense of humor and violent reactions of vengeance :b

This ask took so long because was hard to draw characters with no concept art/no concept art of the ship ; w ; Also was nervous. Always nervous doing OC art, hoping people will like it!

Do any of your OCs know martial arts, and if so what details ya got of em?
You would think in a Sci-Fi worldsetting filled with lasers and technological marvels of weapons, martial arts wouldn't be a preferred combat method...
For Skelly though, that's his main weapons. His fists do all the talking, which is how his people have evolved.
Skelly (not his real name...but impossible to translate his given name into human speak so the nickname stuck) is a master of his people's form of energy martial arts where he is able to manipulate various forms of energy, from potential energy to kinetic energy to heat energy.
This high energy martial art practices the idea of a strong defense is the best offense and focuses on turning attacks around on the attacker. Shooting isn't much use when that kinetic energy can be "absorbed" and deflected back with pure energy fists. Still, it is a talent that has to be honed and trained and requires discipline and absolute focus, something Skelly has....given his rank as a Interstellar Guardian! Such a title and role, given to those who embark on their journey for higher understanding and to achieve perfect perception and harmony, is carried by only a few of his people.
He is currently traveling and aiding the human Ares fleet and hoping to help what is left of Humanity finally be accepted by the intergalactic community to help them find a new homeworld.
Fun note: Skelly's species (name still workshopping!) ARE a cousin of humanity! They are a hominid species taken from earth by another alien species and the ship crashed on another world, so Skelly's people have a more favorable view on humanity.... despite how evolution took them in dramatically different directions.
Finally able to get another Helltober done 83 my art time has been very limited of late... but still going to get 31 pieces done this month and catch up >8I
Helltober 17: Hellish Machinery
Devilbots look comically lowtech compared to what AI and robotics is capable in my sci-fi setting...but seeing one inspires nothing but fear and dread in those that see them. They are scouts for Hell Agents and are extremely fast and dangerous...and without any mercy when it comes to fulfilling their orders.
In the space-faring community, they are considered a bad omen.
Absolutely EXHAUSTED today, but wanted to get a tiny bit of art out before I collapsed XD;; Working on designing one of the Maleka leaders, Michalo, who serves as sort of the “general” of the Maleka (Worldbuilding in progress for ranking and titles c:)
The first one is...the first concept ironically. Not happy with how it looks and don’t feel it is capturing the concept. However, by the third and final sketch, starting to get the face more how I want and how the head looks. Neck also got thicker to better hold up the rack c:

From left to Right: "Insector", Joe, and "Skelly". Insector and Skelly are nicknames from the crew. The former can't remember and the latter's native tongue is difficult for the "lesser cousins" to speak.
