Jeremiah 2:13 KJV For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. 1 John 2:15 KJV Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. Stop running to empty wells. Habits, people, tv shows, music, philosophers- stop running to those idols when you need healing or peace or to feel loved. Run to God. Remember the love of Christ Jesus who died for you and now lives in you. Spend time with Him in prayer and listen to Him speak to you through His Word. He will give you the faith, the ability to trust Him instead of those other empty cisterns, those dead gods.
