Tick Tock
Tick glanced down at the address on his hand, then to the streets around him. “Aaaaand I’m completely lost.” He mumbled, letting his hand fall back to his side. He spotted a door that caught his eye for some unknown reason (“it looks just like all the others!”) and he approached it slowly, running over what he could say in his mind. He paused a foot or so away, then finally reached out and knocked, loudly. He stood for a moment, his heart, and consequently the ticking that sounded wherever he went, climbing steadily in pace.
Finally the door opened and Tick jumped in surprise at the appearance of the person who opened it, who seemed to be glaring at him through large glasses and bright red hair. “Er- hello. I appear to be lost. Could you point me in the right direction?” He asked, his discomfort growing as the other began grinning widely.
It was not a common occurrence to have a visitor in these troubled times. Yes, Thomas was well connected, but guests were rare to anyone these days, rarer still to those who are well connected. One could typically expect trouble to pour in from the 'outside' world whenever possible, seeping in at the least reinforced places like a misbegotten basement flood which rises when you least expect it.
But of course, Thomas had not been expecting this little surprise to be knocking at his door. The long haired young individual was quite adorable on his own, but the 'cherry on top' as it were, was that dumbfounded expression which he wore with a practiced ease. Thomas quirked a brow and crossed his arms delicately, leaning to one side.
"Might I be of some assistance?" He asked smoothly.
