An exploration in style. This one comes from a desire to paint with soft watercolour tones and bold gouache colours, and a sentence that was floating in my head for no reason for a while, and that became it's title "Lost (in the forest of the soul)". The brackets are important, as I want Lost as the main title, and the forest of the soul is for myself. This is where it all started. I remember, back then, I bought a cheap drawing pad in a drugstore for $1 probably and this was the first thing I drew. I didn't know what I wanted to do or what I was doing whatsoever. I just starred at the paper and let my hand do its job. It took me 10 minutes to make this and when I finished it I knew this was the start of what I wanted to do. Empty eyed ladies/gentlemen (?) I kept experimenting with it, and I still am, I just want to get better. I've been lacking motivation, that's why I went looking for my old stuff. (And ever since I left the hospital I can't stop thinking about food which is not helping... I'm always hungry T^T) I kinda wanna try to redo one of my first empty eyed girls. Got some family members who are offering some help on this "art journey" that I'm really excited about, but won't say anything in case I fail, then nobody will know. It feels like it was yesterday when I got that drawing pad, and I never thought I would make it to 500 followers, and now I have 4,600+ (?) I really can't believe it! ♡ Thanks everyone for being here, words cannot describe how grateful I am for this big family ♡ There might be times where I disappear or just be stupidly sad and it might also take me what feels like an eternity to get back at some of you or that I completely forget to, but I REALLY appreciate every single one of you and I wouldn't be doing this if it weren't for your support. Emptyeyes (she-cat, medicine cat, mostly blind), Juniperrest (elder, she-cat, loves to badger Empty about everything he does), Kicking Thrush (little baby she-kit, loves Empty), Leaping Heart (Kick's brother, interested in becoming mediator)

Emptyeyes - A skilful and kind she-cat. Emptyeyes is an extremely skilled medicine cat but she always is open to improve, she wants nothing more than for her clanmates to be as happy and healthy as possible. She is always kind to her patients, even if they are being rude or difficult, she believes that a little bit of kindness can go a long way, especially in healing, 15/10

Juniperrest - An extroverted and proud she-cat. Juniperrest would much rather be out hunting and fighting, but her old bones won’t let her do that anymore. Before she retired, she was great at organising her patrols, now that she’s stuck in the elders den she will often tell other what to do or at the very least question things they do, especially if she doesn’t understand exactly what they are doing, which is why Emptyeyes is often badgered more than most, 13/10

Kicking Thrush - An energetic and bold she-kit. Kicking Thrush is a mischievous kit, always running around and getting into trouble, Emptyeyes is one of the few cats she will do anything for, even the clan leader she doesn’t care too much for. Kicking Thrush only causes mischief out of boredom, so sometimes Emptyeyes will ask her to be a helper and ask her to do certain tasks for her, Kicking Thrush finds this fun and it keeps her out of trouble, much to every cat’s relief, 15/10

Leaping Heart - A quiet and gentle tom. Leaping Heart has always been more timid than his sister, preferring the quiet sanctuary of the nursery over the noisy outside, he likes the idea of being a mediator, he doesn’t like the way he sees other cats fight, even if it’s just training, he would much rather help avert any kind of conflict by using words, he’s not a fan of violence, 15/10
